Highlights
The Rams and Kings met for the second straight year.  Rams got goals from Mike Fimani, Dave Guitar, Mark Holman & Ray Richard. Assists went to Chris Housser, Rick Gallien, John Gallagher & Holman. The Rams dominated the defending Champions from the drop of the ball. Dave Guitar was a standout in the final with his end to end play.  In June of 1979, the Rams went on a tour, playing ball hockey teams throughout Canada. The trip began in Niagara Falls, ON and ended 21 days later in Moncton, NB. It was the first of its kind, using rules from both Dekhockey and Ball Hockey, set up by Ken White of the OBHA and Alan Tomalty of the CBHA. Details to follow

Highlights The County Kings from National Park NJ upset 2 time National Champions  the Leominster Rams in Overtime. The game looked like a lock for the Kings sitting on a 3-2 lead late in the 3rd pd. Chris Housser scored his second goal of the game with only 5 seconds left. Housser to a pass from Dave Boivin with the time running out and  fired a slapshot from his own defesive faceoff circle, over the shoulder of Kings Steve Bartleson to force OT. An unassisted goal at 5:01 in OT by Kings Lou Menfre clinched the title for his team. Rams Tom Poirier had oepned the scoring, assisted by Housser. The Kings scored the next two from Bill Read & Vince Ditullo, assists going to Bob Fisher, Joe Dehart & Read.

Chris Housser opened the scoring 44 seconds into the game Dave Guitar & Owen Juilas assisting. Housser added two more goals for the perfect Hat Trick. Guitar, Julias & Ray Richard had assists. Tom Poirier & Bruce Mandozzi added to make it 5-0, Housser, Julias, Richard & John Gallagher added assists.Rams Lee Baron &  Al Radicioni also scored for the Rams, assists going to Housser & Richard. John Begley & Will Senatore had the Griffin goals, with as assist to Ken Patterson. Tom Deery, now at the helm as Rams Coach, made it two straight Nationals.

Highlights
Chris Housser, opened the scoring assisted by Tom Poirier at 3:41 of the 1st pd. Roslindale's Tucker Duggan tied the game late in the 2nd pd, and then took the lead on a goal by Bill Crehan. Poirier assisted by Housser tied the game with only  43 seconds left. Dave Guitar scored the OT winner, knocking in a slapshot out of mid-air from Housser. Coach Dave Kornik, guided the Rams to their 1st Tournament Championship.
