US NATIONALS 2012 PENGUIN BEAVER CADET RESULTS & TEAM PICTURES

 The 2012 US Nationals Penguin Beaver & Cadet A & B Chamionships was a huge success, lots of action with 42 teams and over 700 players vieing for several championships crowns...plenty of upsets and surprises

Also honoring the past this weekend the  West Rink was named for Raymond Leclerc who is considered the founder and father of Street Hockey and Dekhockey. It was his vision of organized Street Hockey and the invention of the no bounce" Orange Ball over 40 years ago. The LDHC was the first Street Hockey Center built in North America by Mylec owend by Mr Leclerc.

The East Rink was dedicated to Thomas Downey, the sports great ambassador and Mr Lelcerc's valuable assistant. Through Mr Downey's tireless efforts the sport expanded into many areas. With these important pioneers the sport we now play exists and continues to grow all over the word.
