Monday, January 1, 0001
E Zimmerman recently sat down with Chris Housser, Street Hockey's guru and once called the Babe Ruth of his sport to discuss the past and future of a game, that began in the early 70's. Now in 2009 is on the rise in the forms of Ball Hockey or DekHockey today. Chris's history in the sport is extensive, to name a few, he was MVP at the US Nationals 5 times, won the US Nationals scoring title 11 straight times. Also played at the ISBHF World Ball Hockey Championships in 2003 (Switzerland) and 2007 (Germany). Chris came out of retirement and lead his team in scoring both times, he was also one of the top five leading scorers for each tournament, all at the young age of 50 then 54. Chris helped create the Leominster Rams, Street Hockey's most winning team, he also owns the Leominster Dekhockey Center and the Niagara Regional Street Hockey Centre in Niagara Falls Canada.
