2008 USA Championships Results Summary This was the 3rd year for Disney's Street Hockey Cup at the beautiful Wide World of Sports in Orlando Fl. 34 teams and over 600 players participated at two of the finest indoor rinks in the world, (175' x 75' ) played on MS3 Solid SportsSurface. All games were played by the IDTA RuleBook and ASHI Guidelines. Teams came from all over to compete, Tampa Bay, Quebec City, Montreal, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Boston, New Jersey, Leominster Ma the Home of Street Hockey. Plenty of action packed games & upsets paved the way for a great tournament. The 2 Rinks at the USA Championships were named in Honor of Thomas Downey & Raymond W LeClerc for their lifetime contributions and dedication to the game of Street Hockey and Dekhockey. The 2007 USA CUP at DISNEYWORLD in Orlando Florida, was a great success . Over 600 players competed in 7 Divisions for Championships. NEW this year the first WOMEN'S Division competed with plenty of action.The Wide World of Sports at Disney World is the finest place any player could ever play. Two regulation rinks, INDOORS played on MS3 SPORTSURFACE. Special Theme park, lodging packages and transportation were guaranteed for all teams that were entered and stayed at DISNEY'S Resorts and Hotels. | 2007 CAN AM Results : FINAL RAMS 8 BUFFALO 9MM 0 Tuesday, September 25, 2007
The 2007 CAN AM with a field of 12 teams saw the 07 US National Champion Leominster RAMS crush Buffalo NY 9MM 8-0 in the Final. The RAMS edged the Leominster Jets in the Quarter Finals 2-1scoring with 32 seconds left in the game, then in the Semi- Final the RAMS defeated the ELITE 9-0. Buffalo 9MM coached by Chris Banks and recent Maple Leaf Cup Champs, won the Quarter Finals 4-1 against the Mass COYOTES, then shocked the Gr Boston STARS 4-1 in the Semi's. Read More
