Established in 1979 the Niagara Regional Street Hockey Centre (NRSHC) has relocted with new owners, to the NEW Regency Sports Complex on Mountain Rd. The Complex has a restaurant, food kiosks outside & is fully licenced for alcohol. Also on site are Softball & Volleyball areas, Pro Shop. The 2 rinks planned are regulation 160 x 80' with MS3 SportSurface. The NEW facility is just minutes away from all the area accomodations & attractions.right off the QEW Highway
The NRSHC was the original and oldest Street Hockey/Dekhockey Center in Canada and opened in 1979 by Chris Housser. The Maple Leaf Cup Tournament will find a new home at the complex.Teams from all over the United States, Canada and even Europe have played at the facility over the years.
The Regency Sports Complex (RSC) will be a member of the OBHA & IDTA . The facility will have a Pro Shop, Snack Bar, Video game area and plenty of room for spectators. In addition there is a licenced restaurant and outside food kiosks.
The RSC will operate year round with 3 major seasons. Players play from age 4 to over 40 in organized leagues, with certified officials and volunteer coaches. Besides Street Hockey Leagues and Tournaments, the Centre will have a full range of activities including clinics, hockey camps and seminars.Referees and Coaches are welcome to join too.
The Centre promotes itself as a clean, well run facility for families & players who want to play and enjoy Street Hockey and Dekhockey.
